Where to do it: Applecross Street near Forth & Clyde Canal in Firhill

How to do it: Bend your knees and jump with feet together, land with your knees bent to lower impact on your joints. Swinging your arms forwards and up helps you to gain a bit more velocity during the jump. To keep the rest of your body compact is important though, your abdominals will help you. Do it step by step until you feel confident to take on the bigger gaps. Here you can boulder hop until it's dusk as you will only find the occasional dog and its' owner passing you.
This is also a good preparation for Precision Jumping.
